Data handling cycle

Remember in doing our controlled assessment we are following the data handling cycle (see the picture).

1. We start be specifying a problem and written a hypothesis (what do we think is going to happen).

2. Then we collect data.

3. We then draw graphs, find averages and do calculations like spearman's rank and standard deviation.

4. We write a summary of what we have found out (referring to our graphs and calculations).

5. We evaluate and deside whether we could improve our work (and then if we need to start a new investigation using this information as a starting point).
