Drawing Straight line graphs


Test your understanding
We are now going to use WolframAlpha to plot some graphs (three graphs at a time). In each case you need to look at the graphs and state:
a) What is the same about the way the graphs look?
b) What is different about the way the graphs look?
c) By looking at the equations why do you think they are similar and different?

Write up your notes on your iPad and upload your thoughts to Showbie. 

1) y = 2x,    y = 2x+1,    y = 2x+3

2) y = 4x,    y = 4x+2,    y = 4x+5.5

3) y = x,    y = 2x,    y = 3x

4) y = x+2,    y = 2x+2,    y = 3x+2
