Ask students to complete the times table grid as fast as possible (highlight that this is there project this term ie. getting quicker at this) - limit this to 20 minutes.
Hand out the sorting exercise - they will need to cut this out and match the answers. They are to be stuck into their books once they have been checked.
Hand out the CGP Workbooks and ask students to work through the questions from page 1.
They must:
- write their names on the front;
- write in pencil (no pens);
- hand them back in at the end of the lesson.
Homework
Times tables grids - they must bring them in next week
